What Type of Bantam to Purchase

I am considering purchasing some bantams to start a very small backyard flock. I grew up on a farm and miss the animals. I am primarily interested in having them to control bugs, fertilize and work my soil, fresh eggs, and of course as an uncommon pet. My city will allow 5 hens, but no roosters. I have read several articles about Bantams, however, I am still not real sure what breeds would be good for my purposes. Which one would you choose RI Reds, Orpingtons, Plymouth Rocks, or Wyandottes? Any other suggestions? How are the Sebrights with egg production? I am only interested in the clean legged varieties. Any and all info would be appreciated. Thanks.
