I've decided it's time to add a hibiscus to my garden, but there are sooooo many! I would like a big evergreen shrub that will do well in the blazing Los Angeles summer sun ( I have a soaker hose system, so I don't mind deep watering) I noticed of course the "California Hibiscus", which is beautiful and might be just right, but does anyone have any info on where to buy one, or a nursery here that would have a good selection? Thanks!

I have grown lots of hibiscus varieties and most do well in Los ANgeles... but white flies are such a huge problem and so hard to control I don't bother anymore.
Ugh. Hadn't thought of that. Maybe I'll rethink the new plant......
