Here is a composite picture I thought I would share with you. On the left - my patio flower garden in July. On the right - the same patio as it looked this morning at 10:00am. sigh. What a difference a few months makes! LOL..
but...
soon it will be Spring again.!!!

Can Spring be far away??
Both scene's are pretty, but after spending months in the house, I'm ready to see green again. Nice pictures Diane.
Isn't nature wonderful !!! A true miracle that it can go from now to then in just a few months!!! No wonder nature excites me so!!! Beautiful view !!!
Your patio is beautiful in both summer and winter.
You must have got that storm that we are getting now.
More than a foot of snow today and it's still snowing. :(
I'm sure ready for spring.
Oh my those are lovely pics!!! The winter one is very serene. Joelle
Sorry Diane, I think the snow storm that hit us yesterday was in your "neck of the woods" today!
BOTH pictures show true beauty that is found in your garden!
Nice pictures Diane, Jeanette
I hope Diane that is spring is close, because here in zone 6a, March came in like a lamb, and you know what they say about that, in like a lamb out like a lion. I hope this year that saying is proved wrong.
Linda
March came in like a lion here ... just got 10" of new snow, big drifts. So hopefully it will go out like a lamb!
Sounds nasty, Deb. March came in like a lion here also, but not as mean as yours. Can't wait for spring.
Beautiful pictures, Diane! I know I'm ready for Spring!
Wow Diane,
You have a nice place! Good work!
J
Ditto to all of the above - great photos!
Bring spring on!!! So when is your last possible snow date?
LOL, Kell -
In shoreline Connecticut - we are "usually" safe after April15. Once in a while we get a nasty surprise in late April - but normally not.
God, I CAN'T wait!!!
Diane
Tax day!! I hope it comes fast for you but slow for me. I have so much work to do between and then.
Oooh I luv your backyard and house....beautiful!!
:) Donna
Very pretty yard indeed, in either extreme! I love the comparison.
Jackie
Thanks for the compliments all -
Donna and Jackie - you must not have been in on the LOONNNGGG thread I started last year by posting that summer time picture and then started posting pics of my yard and the stone house my husband built and then I posted about the long lost love story of my sweetie and I.
I tried to find the link to that thread so you could see the other pictures - but it seems to be gone. Maybe it was taking up too much bandwith for them to keep it in the archives.
Diane
OOPS.. Donna and Jackie -I found it!
Here's the link - you can read it some night if you can't find a novel (LOL)

Diane, I love both photos and both seasons. Given the choice, I will always enjoy living in an area were there are four definite seasons, but skiing is about the best use I have for snow...
Diane ~ I read the novel (LOL) and it is just wonderful! Thank you for taking the time to find the link. I am always impressed when true love succeeds, especially when there are some turns in the path to finding it. You and your husband are wonderful..inspirational, and I hope you know it.
The beauty that your love for each other has created, gives us all a gift. This has warmed me up on a cold, snowy night.
Jackie
