Newly planted rooted cuttings - how soon to fertilize?

Eustis, FL(Zone 9a)

Hi everyone, brug newbie here :). I recently received some rooted cuttings, and they went in the ground about a week ago. How long should I let them "settle in" before applying any fertilizer? Also, should I use a weak dilution at first and then work up to regular strength, or just start out with the regular ratio?

Thanks everyone, for the info and for the new addiction!

Hi Chrissy. I fertilize mine all year round, if they are growing inside under lights/windows. If you are afraid to, go slow to start, then build up stronger doses.

WELCOME CHRISSY!!! So glad you found us. And lucky you getting a bunch of rooted brugs so fast.

I would let them gets their roots in and those little white feeder roots grown. I would give it at least a month. I like to foliar feed alot. You can mix a much diluted solution and spritz them on occasion for a pick me up. I love to spritz mine, picks me right up and makes me feel all motherly! Esp since I am suffering from the empty nest syndrome.
