Beautiful, DonnaS, soooooo pretty, especially when we are freezing tonight and down to the twenties tomorrow night, your blossoms are so cheerful. There you go, another magical zone 5a!!!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Very pretty Donna! My DH had shut up my hoophouse tight last night, and when I went in this moring it smelled so good, so I relate. My first real brug whiff of the new year.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Donna ~ thanks for sharing the pics, they all look very healthy and happy!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Thanks Kell and hellobebe. I can't believe it we got a few drops of moisture yesterday and makes everything smell so nice when I went outside to feed the birds. It only got down to 39 last night and the clouds look like we might possibly get a little real rain. Donnas

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Donna, they all look wonderful and I know you are enjoying that enticing fragrance in your greenhouse. I have buds but only one bloom so far.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

They ALL look so wonderful Donna, Great job! I'd love to be a flie on the wall hiding that is lol to get a wiff of those blooms ya got. LOL

I guess mine are slow after their bout with spider mites, and I can't wait until spring so I can get them out and start the process to get me some blooms! Leaves are finally coming back new again. Next year I'll have more humidity in there so maybe I can get some blooms during the winter too !!! *sigh*

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

I think I can smell them!! I really do!
Snowstorm here in Mi. ugh!!

Very nice Donna!

I know we are all ready for Spring!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Thanks again everybody for your interest. The humidity is pretty high in my gh. I have lots of aphids at times, but luckily no mites. I am feeding lightly as I know I can't put the brugs safely outside for a couple of months. I will probably put the larger ones in my passage way as it is about 10 degrees warmer there.

The five in the large pots stored in my bonsai room are just beginning to show tiny green leaf buds, at least 3 or the 5 are, so I'm sure they are alive. DonnaS

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

They look great Donna. Congrats

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gosh, I wish I had a bonsai room! Do you have a lot, Donna,?

Bonnie, LOL!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

I'm sitting here at my computer and my Lhasa Apso Bluebird is scratching on my arm. She is definitely trying to tell me something and I am too dumb to understand what she wants, mostly I do know what but right now I don't and she is getting very disgusted with me. Guess I 'll go get her a treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bonnie, no I wouldn't say I have a lot of bonsai, I think there are about 30, some are better than others. I've been trying to grow bonsai for 50 years and had some quite nice ones, but over the years, especially when I was having my hip joints replaced, twice for both over 5 years, and couldn't get out to take care of the bonsai the way they needed, I lost 3 fifty year old bonsai, so right now I have only one that is about 50 years old. It is one I grew from seed, a Sophora japonica, Japanese Pagoda tree. The rest ones of various ages. I move them outside to what I call my bonsai patio, some are on benches north side of house , so they are in light shade most of the day, others are out in open. Now I have a timer drip system that keeps them water fairly well. I need to do some repotting very soon. DonnaS

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh so sad to lose old friends like that. I would love to see a picture of the one you grew from seed. Imagine having it for 50 years!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I wish I knew how to make Bonsais without killing them. LOL

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Beautiful pictures, DonnaS. I especially like that Heliotrope:-) I like your greenhouse too.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

DonnaS, I posted about the staple removal on another thread, of course i cannot remember which one but it went well, thanks!!!

Please listen carefully to Bluebird, Donna!! Most often when a doggie makes a fuss, there is a reason. If Bluebird barks every day at the mailman, that's just 'play'. But, if she 'insists' that something is up, there is often something going on that could need attending to - it's happened to me many times!! Puppies are generally playing, but when an adult dog 'tells' you something is outta order, always check it out, it pays in the long run.

I had no idea you've had all those hip replacement, wow, you are a real trooper!!! What a shame about your antique bonsai - I would love to see the survivor. I think I have a plant that may be a bonsai - I bought the container and was told the plant in it was dead, but it recovered, ha, but I just cannot seem to

Heliotrope?? What heliotrope, Clare, a plant??? I must have missed it...
