yay, my inca princess buds held on and are now opening. it is a yellow sanguinea. this is the first time i've seen it bloom since i got it last year from a local nursery (payless). i put some inca queen pollen on it but not sure what could come out of that. wish i had some arborea or vulcanicola pollen!
inca princess
Very pretty yellow bloom
Beautiful bloom. I love the color.
Very Pretty!
Bonnie
Nice color. I hope you get a pod from your cross pollination.
I love it and surely hope you get pods!!!!!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Let me look when I get home. I had arborea blooms 2 days ago!!!!
So Payless you say?????????????? Shoot. Where is that??? Do they have lots of interesting things there????
hehe --only payless I know is a shoe store
Doris, you and I have obviously been going to the wrong Payless all this time!!
Beautiful .... keeping fingers crossed.
Payless is a shoe store in Arky, and a well known chain...they sell brugs too??
Payless Cashway is a place like Home Depot up here. Can't say I've every looked at them for nursery items though.
I think this yellow is prettier than the red one..
earthling, I thought the same thing but hesitated to say it, and I generally prefer red to yellow...
Your photos of both incas are really beautiful...I like the tubular form on both.
I hope you have success with your pollination. That will be great to watch!
Beautiful photos and blooms. Too hot here for me to grow but I can admire yours.
I LOVE YELLOW FLOWERS, Your brug is really beautiful, I'm jealous of you mmqc, maybe someday I will have some blooms, I'm going to have to check out all my brugs to see what color they are, I am definitely going to have to find a yellow sanguinea.
We use to have a Payless Cashway in Wichita, but after Lowes came in and HD they didn't make it and closed.
Linda
Ooooh, oooh, oooh!!! That is sooooo pretty and hard to find!
Sigh......Donna
it's payless nursery in san jose on king rd. i know, i was confused at first too. they do have some different things than the home depots and OSHs but finding specialty items there can be a hit or miss since it may sell out. it's the only place i know of locally that sold plumerias as well.
i forgot to mention the inca princess has rather fuzzy leaves unlike my sanguinea seedlings. inca queen has soft furry leaves too.
Beautiful!
Beautiful. Sure wish I could grow them here
oh dear it's beautiful, I just love those sangs. and yellow, wow!
kathy
Looks beautiful!
Your Inca Princess is beautiful. The color is so vivid. Does anyone know if this Brug. can be rooted as easily as most brugs?
Dott
Dott, Sanguineas are among the hardest to root, a real tempermental Angel for sure.
Beautiful flush of bright yellow flowers. Sure to brighten any shady corner of the garden!
gorgeous!!!
Wow!!!!! really very beautiful.
Kaleem
I'd love to see it! Throw it in your vehicle and I'll meet you half-way... say in Denver? I'll even buy dinner.

I just love the shape of those and I really wish they would grow here. I have tried seed several times but to no avail. They will sprout and then in a few weeks when the temps are high they fall dead.......ho hum........I will just look at yours and wish........
Thanks so much for the pictures.
