When Revolution isn't enough ...

Victoria, TX(Zone 9b)

Ok - I'm always pushing Revolution around here, because I do think it's the best flea prevention.

So somebody explain to me why I found fleas on my dog and one on my cat last night? Schnauzer Allie is always on Rev, and cats Furrball & Hobbs were on it for the move from SC, then I took them back off when I got them settled in the apartment. Gave them the last doses I had last night when I saw a flea on Allie. While she was sleeping beside me yesterday evening, I caught two fleas & squashed them. Looked closely at Hobbs & Furrball, and found one on Hobbs, and eliminated it.

A cat rescue friend told me Capstar will kill them, and I'm going to pick up three pills Monday after work. But, how did they end up in here in the first place? I'm also going to call my leasing office, report the three total fleas I found on my pets, inform them I'm taking appropriate vet action, and find out who sprays the interior - them or me.

Fleas must be stronger here than in SC, so what do I do? With the soppy wet weather we're having, I'm sure we're bringing them in from outside, looking for a dry warm hiding spot. Can't quit taking Allie outside, so what's the next solution?

TIA,
Jennifer
