My canna bed looks pretty barren! Any good ideas for planting in March seeds to fill in until my cannas begin their growth?

Filled in ours last year with coreopsis Moonbeam and marigolds short yellows and oranges

I'll bet Caladium would look nice with them. There are many varieties of color combinations. I like this one in particular:
