Satellite Internet

Does anyone else have Satellite Internet?

We're having Direcway installed, and I can't wait! We're too far out in the country for cable or DSL, for a while I had a service called "webhopper" that was developed by an engineer at our local TV station, it increased download times by using an outdoor antenna.... it was great, and really made a difference in downloads and browsing. They went out of business, and since then, I've been back with just plain dial up. I've looked at the satellite systems for a long time, but the cost was prohibitive... I found a great deal, the satellite is here and the installer is coming tomorrow. I get to dump the second phone line, and both ISP's. My main Earthlink, and I had a cheapy 5.95 a month ISP for the kids computers.

I'm excited, but wondering if anyone uses it, and if you're happy with it. I think I'll be happy with ANYTHING other than the 44-48kbps I have now.... I've read that download times can be up to 3000kbps, but normally are in the 1000 to 1500 kbps range.
