Having a Senior Moment here...
In response to my query about treating my Brugs against Grasshoppers awhile back, one of you great women posted about using Sevin in liquid form...with detergent? oil? I have looked for the post but can't find it. Can whoever gave this great solution give it again? I tried all other forms of killing them to no avail...now I need to follow that advice.
Thanks so much....sorry for cluttering the airwaves with this.....

Thanks Dick. I'm late getting here today. Have lots to do now that the greenhouse is up and running.
Brugie...can't find any information on qty. of Sevin to mix per gallon of water...a "bit", a "bit more", a wad or a wallop?
Thanks,
Carol
Carol, I use a Tablespoon or Two per gallon of water. Just a little squirt of dish soap used as a sticker or an actual sticker product if you have it. That should do it.
Thanks to both of you for all the help. I have probably totally confused names...my apologies. Am still a bit scrambled.

I used this last year, and it works in the same way. I did see it is about $5 cheaper for a pound. I didn't get a early start last year, but plan on getting a earlier start this year. After we used it you could see dead grasshoppers clinging to a lot of plants.

Thanks, Linda. I saw this on the other post and checked it out... Looks great! But first I have to check it out with Hawaiian Ag. folks...these small islands get affected by the wierdest st uff and I would hate to cause a catastrophe!!!
:~)
