Hi from the Shenandoah Valley...

Just subscribed to this site after seeing how great the crowd is. I'm a new gardener, with a freshly-plowed piece of lawn I'm having tilled (for hopefully the last time) and turning into an organic veggie/herb/flower garden. Expecting to make plenty of mistakes! We hope also to grow a sunflower house for the children in the summer, and we're building a portable coop for some chickens or ducks. I'm as happy to find this group as I was this morning to find someone willing to sell me straw bales... yippee!

zeppy I have about a week on you as a new member . I'm sure you will find lots of places to visit here. It is a perfect time to join since spring is coming and lots of information regarding your new garden spot can be discussed on here. I grow a big garden in northwest Mo. and many other things that keeps me busy. Your sunflower house sounds really cute. Have a great day and welcome aboard!
