And so it begins!!!

I decided to stop feeling sick and so pathetic so I went out to my hoophouse to get energized and renewed!! And I saw some fancy pinks blooming not so fancy!!! LOL. But fancy enough for February!

Then I looked up and saw Sexy Lady with several flowers, also in her winter dress.

She had a few buds opening.

OPPS....this is L'Amour, not Sexy Lady! Both have buds opening.

And then I saw red......and was so happy to see she was darker then them all and not even opened. I live in fear that she blooms white this summer! LOL

And then I went and looked at Mountain Magic on the porch. Even though she has been dinner for some snail it looks like

Wow, glad you have them to enjoy while you were under the weather. Good to see you back. I love that last one!

Guess what she had hidden inside? Which is some what unusual for winter flowers I have noticed!

So not being able to control myself.....guess what I just had to do?????????????????

And so it begins.....................season 2005!

Great to see blooms, Kell. I had aphids on some of my Brugs so I sprayed them and I found some very baddly eaten leaves. I inspected the leaves for critters and seen the shiney path across the leaves so I'm harboring some snails/slugs in my greenhouse. I also saw a grasshopper jump from one Brug to another. If I dig deep enough in there, it's no telling what all kinds of critters are hiding in there.

Winter color or not .... they are beautiful Kell!! I can't wait to see what Red does later this spring!!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Once again, gorgeous!
I'm glad to see you're up and motoring around.
Did the kitties miss you today? LOL

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

You didn't...............pollenate yet another brug? WTG!!

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Beautiful, Kell, so very pretty!! Snails/slugs, ugh, I hate having to fight them again this year, but the minute it stops raining, I'm going after them big time!!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

There was no pollen on SL. A little on L'A. But tons on MM. So I used MM all around! LOL I can't believe I have started already!! There is no hope for me.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

There would be absolutely no hope for me if I have the chance to start pollenating early, especially if it took, I hope this will be my year to have my own seeds...

It will be Sherry. It is so much fun.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Lewiston, CA(Zone 7b)

Glad you are feeling well enuf to go play with the Brugs. I'm terribly jealous that you have blooms already! It's still freezing here at night.

Is Lewiston up towards Eureka Bj?

San Jose, CA(Zone 9b)

They look like perfect "get well blooms" to me. Glad to know you're up and about. It's like missing a favorite show when you don't post.

I love the effects of the first few photos. Although I know it's your hoophouse, it looks like a foggy background. Very cool.

Ok, so now I know what Brug pollen looks like...just when I think I can't get into more trouble, you all prove me wrong! Oh, but the fun we have!

Adrian, MI(Zone 5b)

Even your brugs. are saying "feel better."They are beautiful! I'm glad you feel good enough to check out your blooms, that should cheer you up!I can't wait to see the next flush on your Red!
