I am so excited! I never win anything, I swear...could the Lottery be next?!!! I won one of the two prizes, Snowhermit was offering to celebrate her birthday in the Brug and Friends Forum. The two crosses are Butterfly x Mountain Magic and Golden Lady x Becca Lynn. Woo Hoo!!! :D
I won, I won!
Wow, that's really cool Donna!!! Congratulations, I never win anything either. Maybe you should buy a lottery ticket just in case you're on a roll. ;-D
Yeah, Donna!!!!! Congrats!!!
:) Donna
Hey Donna, Congrats!, ya better run out and get a lotto ticket, ya just never know......
That's great, Donna!! :-) I agree, buy a lotto ticket right away!
I found out yesterday that I won something too...a package of 3 CBC golf balls. They arrived in the mail. A couple of weeks ago when our PM was testifying at the Gomery inquiry, our local CBC station had run a contest asking a question about the only other sitting PM who had to testify - Sir John A. The question was, from whose office the incriminating papers had been stolen. Go, Google! Of course, now I forget the fellow's name, and I had forgotten about the contest until these golf balls arrived.
I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your prize plants when the time comes! :-)
Shannon
Thanks, Linda, Donna, Sandy and Shannon. I am calmer this morning, LOL. WTG, Shannon, on your win too! Do you golf? It's always fun to win a contest, isn't it?
Old Flower Girl
congratulations on your winning
Wilma
Thanks Wilma. Snowhermit hopes that these crosses will bring a nice double yellow or a deep, dark pink. Time will tell...If I don't kill the seeds! ... shudder, shake...
There are so many neat crosses in the brug world, it's amazing. Kind of exciting to see how they will turn out.
Donna, just out of curiosity, were all the Red Sanguinea seeds lost? I've lost three so far...one sprouted but I know fm your experience that it's not out of the woods yet.
I tried golfing a few times when I was in Edmonton, and it was enjoyable enough, but haven't done it for a few years now. I just entered for fun, and anything with a CBC logo on it is good in my books :-)
I think my dad will be getting these golf balls in the mail for Father's Day in June! Or maybe I'll drop them off on the way home from the RU.
Didja buy your Western 6/49 yet? ;-)
LOL, no not yet, but it's still early here. Unfortunately, yes, I did lose all the Sanguinea seeds. I hope your little seedling hangs in here. Wonder how Joelle's is doing? Joelle.....?
Congrats, Donna...................E
Thanks Elaine.
Way to go Donna! WooHoo! (Still waiting for the Sangs here)
Your seeds still "sleeping", Joelle?
Way to Go Donna!!!
It's exciting...now to see how those baby's will look-when they grow for you-another surprise..LOOK-OUT
Yes the little turds are still asleep! lol
Joelle, are the outer coverings still on yours? After my first 3 went bad, I took the coverings off, on Jeanne's recommendation, and #4 sprouted practically the next day. # 5 is still sleeping. Just curious....I know next to nothing about brugs.
Shannon
I didn't know you could peel these kind, thanks for the tip I will go look at them now. Joelle
Congrats Donna! Looks like a number of us have been lucky....I too won some special Japanese Morning Glory seeds not too long ago.
Thanks Pam, it's fun playing the games, and a real hoot to finally win. I remember when you won those Japanese Morning Gloy seeds. That was a good prize too.
Wow Donna!! A double yellow or maybe a deep, dark pink? How cool is that prospect? I'm going to have to look up the Japanese Morning Glory seeds.
