Last Wednesday my daughter brought us a cat, Nemo, that was going to be taken to the pound because the owner was tired of him. He is about 18 months old, a dark orange tabby. Well sort of tabby, his left side is striped and his right side is spotted. His tail is ringed with a dark stripe down its length.
He hid under the bed untilll Thursday afternoon. Neither Reba or Sam woulld 3come into the bedroom Wednesday nite or Thursday nite. By Friday Reba decided that he was no threat and simply began to ignore him.
This afternoon about 1, Sam came into the computer room to eat and hiss at Nemo. Then he wanted out. A couple hours later he was ready to come inside. Nemo was standing in the livingroom and Sam ran over to him and touched noses, not once, but over and over again.
I know that others have had terrible times introducing a new cat. I don't understand why this has gone so smoothly.
