Country Road Daylilies - Amaryllis

I just bought 2 huge dbl red amaryllis bulbs and was extremely pleased w/ product, price & shipping. Owner Vonda Thomas also specializes in DL. I haven't had time to check out in detail, but her website is very nice. Check it out. very good to hear that you are satisfied with your order--I have looked at her site several times for research on amaryllis--very nice selection and she offers the colossal size bulbs for some varieties which are fairly uncommon and hard to find at the discounters.

I will add her site to my favorites...I would like to buy from her next year--her prices seem so reasonable..did you say something in garden watch dog or are you going to wait until bloom time and check if they are true?

I went ahead and posted a positive feedback. But you make a good point. I will wait until my bulbs bloom and make a comment about that also. If all goes well (which I think it will) what better endorsement could that be? I bought 2 ragtime (red double) (on ebay) and will place an order for dancing queen and hermitage directly thru her website.

I noticed that a couple of months ago she had the much coveted "papillion" on sale for $6 or $7. Now they're back to $12 something.

also wanted to buy charisma but they're out. will post pix when they bloom.

Hmmm, she is in Milton Fl, which is just a few miles from here. I feel a road trip coming on.
