Hello fellow gardeners. Just joined from Lubbock, Texas!

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

I am a beginner gardener of flowers. I went to Lowe's today to buy an extension cord and came home with $49 worth of dahlia tubers and NO cord! I've got Spring Fever. Can anyone relate?

Hi Linda. Welcome to DG. I can totally relate. I'm very lucky to live far enough from Lowes, HD, and any other place that sells plants, that my husband doesn't have to much to worry about. I do make up by shopping on line a lot, but I don't let that count.

LOL Linda... you're in good company here! I live within walking distance of Lowe's, and have been known to pull a little cart behind me when they have pony packs of flowers for 29 cents. :)

Welcome to DG!

Welcome to Dave's Garden. We are all plant addicts here ,lol
I tell my daughter , "come on with me to Lowes or Home Depot remind me to pick this or that up." It really works. I would write a list , but she prettier and more fun to be with.
Sounds like you will fit right in.. The people here are great, just jump right in.
Enjoy!

Linda,

Glad to have you join us. This place is awesome. You'll love it here. Based on what you've already purchased, you'll fit in just fine. :)

Relate? I get crazy this time of year. Longing for Spring I do some very irrational things. Like ordering way more plants than I need. Thank heavens the Iowa Round-up will be soon; I can take the extras there and share with my fellow DGers.
