variegated brug plant - What is one worth....

Osage City, KS(Zone 5b)

I know there has been a discussion about these but with the search option temporarily down I had no way to find it.... Can anyone give me the scoop on these .... I found them at the garden show on special about a 2 ft plant for 9.99 (yellow)....... Any opinions..... my first instinct (because I've been bitten by the brug bug) is to buy them all .... Some one needs to save me from myself.....

You won't go wrong at $9.99. Do you know if they were Peaches and Cream, Sunset or Maya? Some say Maya and Sunset are the same Brug. Peaches and Cream is a slower grower

No the sign just said yellow.... and the garden show staff didn't have a name....... for some reason I thought the variegated leafed brugs were more difficult to find .... but it may have been that they are just harder to grow ....... I'm to much a newbie to know ...... they did seem to be well established plants and think of all the money I'd save on shipping ...... : - )

I have enjoyed the variegated foliage of Peaches and Cream and yes it's a slow grower. It was not untill it's second year that it did well for me and blooms later in the summer. I also had to keep it in check closely seems the white fly really like this one.

Now don't go out and buy all of them! Let someone else have a couple....LOL

Price is right, go for it!

I think you will enjoy them but just don't get dissapointed if they don't bloom really well for you the first year.
Ada! I noticed I have a few little babies showing themselves today!!!! yipeeeee

Kin, are the seedlings green? My peaches and Cream cross is a very pale yellow seedling that I posted a picture of in the seedling post I made. I'm going to send you an e-mail thru dave's
