Zephyranthes candida

We planted a few of these plants purchased from a specialty nursery in Mexico after falling in love with them at a National Park outside of Mexico City. Once they were planted in our California garden (Temecula, SoCal, wine country), they went nuts! Anyone wishing to try this plant can contact me for a trade or I'll just send some bulbs. This plant is a lovely addition to any border or as a white flowering foreground plant in a bulb garden.

No trades necessary, postage will be fine. I can send up to 24 individual bulbs to you, no problem at all. If you prefer Ups or FedEx, just send the envelope for a two pound package. USPS is great, but I always worry about them irradiating stuff...lol. Don't know if Zephyranthes looks good glowing in the dark..

I would love to try these as well. By looking at the PlantFiles data, they should be hardy in my zone, too. I have some things to offer in trade if you're interested in receiving plants - or - I can send postage. Whatever you prefer is great with me.

Lycoris radiata (Surprise lily bulbs)
Yellow daffodils - fragrant
Mixed gladiolus bulbs
Artemesia - Oriental Limelight (invasive - pot it up)
Obedient plant - probably lavender blooms
Hosta - unknown variety, probably blue, perhaps Halcyon

just send me your favorite type of SASE and I'll send you a few. In your climate, they will increase very quickly. you'll need to provide enough postage for about a pound.

My trade wishes are pretty specific. I think an SASE will be just great. I can send up to 12 individual bulbs. It might be best to go priority due to the fact that these rascals are growing. Just a thought.

I'm really glad you got them. The package was a little odd in shape and Mercury is in retrograde...so that was a real plus to hear that you've received your package. I still have about 3 dozen bulbs that remain unclaimed by those who reserved bulbs and did not come through. So if you send SASE with postage for about a pound or so, I'll send you a dozen immediately after receiving you postage. The flowers are so dainty and cheerful. They'll brighten up any spot in the garden.
