Does this one survive in zone 6b outdoors? Or do you grow it as a container plant? Really cool photos!!

I grow it in my greenhouse. Should have been more explicit on that. I forgot where I got the plant, at a nursery in Lancaster. I love it. No seeds as yet. Thanks.

Thank you for the information. Is it fragrant? I guess the bees home in on UV color patterns on it. It's interesting how a uniquely exotic species is so readily accepted as a forage source by the native bee populations!

No, unfortunately, they are not fragrant but are quite unusual and beautiful. Mine will be kept in a pot. I keep trying to pollenate the flowers with a makeup brush. We'll see what happens.

I saw some KP seeds for sale on several auctions in eBay. The seller claims they are very difficult to germinate. Probably once you got one lot going successfully the mystery would vanish.
