How did you get it to grow in that form? It's beautiful!

Sorry to say it is not mine. It grows where I study horticulture. It is a vine. They let it grow along wires. Each year they cut it back hard and it has the most wonderful fragrance when in bloom. I'm in love with it. Here is another picture of the vine climbing up a metal pole.

It's gorgeous! How long does it bloom? I'm in Arizona.

I live in zone 5b or 8 in my heart. Because I have to take mine inside for the winter, I cut it back hard around the middle of September and it is looking pretty awful right now. When it goes outside in another month it will perk up and send up flower buds and bloom for about 5 months. I adore the fragrence.

I finally found one to buy from Butterfly Gardens by Robyn. I live in Arizona so I should have a pretty long blooming period. I hope that it does well for me. In your opionion what kind of support should I give it.? Would a trellis work best to start it out?

A trellis will work as long as it is heavy duty but know that this vine is agressive in warm areas. It will grow quite large. Pruning can keep it where you want it. Good luck. The flowers are fragrant and I just never get tired of the fragrance.
