Wanted: flowers for zone 9

Hi everyone! I'm new to Dave's Garden (this place is SO addictive!!) and to gardening in general. As I'm just getting my feet wet/fingernails dirty I'm hoping to get some flower seeds to start out with. I'm in Central Florida, which can get pretty darn hot in the summer, so I'm not sure how things will take the heat. I've been doing a ton of reading up, though, so hopefully I can make something grow! :) I'd love if anyone has anything available for SASE. I do have some white- light lavender poppy seeds that I saved from the poppies last year (only thing I could get to survive!), that I'd be willing to trade for.
