trying to buy on ebay is a

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

race to the finish. wow i was high bidder on a few brugs till the last few minutes and boom seemed like everyone wanted to bid at the same time.

gosh i didnt know it was so hard to buy a brug off ebay. wow

New Hyde Park, NY(Zone 7a)

wait till the end to bid, otherwise your just bump up your own bid...

Northeast, WA(Zone 5a)

Decide what is the most you will pay for the plant and put that in. If you are outbid, so be it. If you get it, you will only pay what you would if you had put in a bid for the next bid higher than the last.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. You can read it on the hints or whatever that ebay puts out.

i bid on seeds and other things but never really have to watch those but

wow you have to watch those brugs.

the few i did bid and some are still going today are from topcat1 i believe her name is. there isnt one of her auctions unbidded on. i got a plant from her last week not a brug but it was gorgous. so i can imagine her brugs.

I have bought from Mary, and her brugs are very healthy, and worth the $$. (Sadly, I was still very new at the time, and I murdered the three I bought last year: Death by overwatering and improper drainage.) I have served out my sentence for these crimes and over/underwatering will NOT be a problem again this year, I'll tell you that. I cried for days at each death.
I just bought another one, KBS, and this sucker is chunky and full of leaves. I really wanted to try Cypress Gardens, but that one sells for quite a bit.
I don't think you will be disappointed with anything from Mary. I noticed the same thing, that her brug auctions are really taking off now...must be severe cases of Spring Fever.
Imzadi, Good luck to you with your bidding!

I agree, put in your top bid and you won't have to be there at the last to bid. Especially if you have dial up. It's easier to snipe,(jump in last minute) if you have cable.

This way is best. Wait until the last of the auction. Put in your HIGHEST bid, but wait until the last fine to ten seconds. Earlly bidding just runs up the price that you will have to pay.

try https://esnipe10.esnipe.com/ it works awesome and this way you don't have the stress of watching and waiting and trying to beat the clock. i have used it for years. well worth the 5 cents and i have won alot of things i would have missed otherwise.
good luck!
