Forwarding entire content of email

When I want to forward a cute email that I received from someone else that has pictures in it, the reciepient gets the message but not the pictures. Just an empy box where the pictures belong. Is there something I should be doing? People sent them to me and I get them fine, but just can't forward. Just wondered.
