Where is your RED brug? Hope it didn't pass on?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh no. She is very happy, happier than all my others. She thrived over winter. Has lots of buds now.

Kell, don't you think Miss Red needs testing in NC? LOL

Wouldn't that look nice when all in bloom here?

I am hoping it is still dark. LOL. Though probably it will be too cold for it to be dark with the first flush. But at least I will get fresh pollen. I will say I am thrilled to see it thrive over winter. It really did the best of all my brugs.

However, it needs an attitude adjustment in its rooting habits! I have only gotten 1 piece to take root that is still alive and that took months over winter.

I will cut the mother plant back next month (if the buds let me) to get some cuttings to share. Say a prayer because I have cut lots of pieces and none took root except 2 that I sent Susie which died!!!

On the other hand, Sexy Lady roots where she falls!

Here I am with red last summer!
