very nice photo, aren't they the prettiest flowers! Love the color, Annie

Thanks Annie,
Yes, they are beautiful and quite showy too if planted in a mass. Since they bloom around this time of year while most other plants are still dormant, they do add color and interest to landscapes. There are other ice plants with different colors, but this one seems to be the hardiest and most heat resistance. I love them! They're in my yard for three years now and still expanding.

I have orange ones, and another I call the freeway one, lol, can't wait to see it bloom, don't know the color yet, Annie

Well, that's going to be a surprise to you. Sometimes I like to get a plant that I don't know much about and let it surprise me when it blooms. I recall driving in Cal. freeways and seen many Ice plants along the on/off ramps. They have many different color blooms.
I had the orange and yellow ones before too. Actually whole flats of them, but just about all have died. There is only one that survived, not sure about the color though.

I got mine on my son's schoolground. It looked like it died for quite awhile, then poof it came back strong, I just Lay most of my Succulents down on the dirt, they just take off, I can't wait to see the color, I like to be surprised also, as i have purchased a few C&S, don't know the names or what will look like, lol! Happy plant snatching to you, Annie

It is also fun to dig up some free plants. Have fun planting it.

I would love to do that also, but isn't it illegal to dig up wild plants in some state? I wonder in what states is it illegal and what states is it not. Would you know by chance? I would love to go on a plant hunting/digging trip. Hehe!
