Great plant isn't it! Endemic to Poor Knight's Island, a small island near New Zealand. Seen it for sale in a few specialist nurseries here - don't know how widespread cultivation is.

An aussie buddy of mine has sent me some seed. What a lovely chap...I can't wait to try and grow this, figure here I can put it outside for most of the year and bring it in for the winter. I have the perfect contaiers, and even some orchid mix to get them started :0) What an awesome plant
