Donna -- Happy, Happy Aniversary! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!!!!!!!!
And yes, she is in bloom right now. I've had quite a few blooms this winter. Only because its a heated hoophouse... also, I've found that Frosty will usually bloom within 3 months of starting a cutting.
Now I have to get busy and start pruning everything in the garden in anticipation of Spring re-growth. February 14th is the "magic" time to do that here.
Love, Hugs and Kisses to y'all!!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO EVERY ONE OF YOU DG'ER.
I am pruning too, Gretchen. I usually do all my roses in Novemeber. I have no clue what I was doing in November! I am so far behind!
Kell -- is that the recommended time to prune in your area? Here they can be more easily damaged if pruned before Winter. That's why its recommended that roses and all other perennials in my area be pruned mid-Feb. Could it be, you did yourself a favor?
Have fun and don't overdo it :)
We do not get cold enough for damage but are cool enough in Nov. that they do not sprout out. And the garden looks so much neater all winter. I already have lots of them putting out new growth and I am hacking it away.
It is also too late for bareroot planting now. And of course I have lots of bareroot roses I have not put in yet. I got Tom to dig me 2 holes yesterday and then he quit on me.
Have a wonderful day, everybody. The weather is gorgeous here today, so I'm going to be outside most of the day doing what I love to do. Everything is already pruned and weeded, but I've got lots of repotting to do. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ONE AND ALL!
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
Happy Anniversary, Donna!!
I hope everyone enjoys the day!!
Bonnie
