Wanted: Special Veggies

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for but I'd like to try some unusual veggies in the veggie garden this year. I don't need a lot of any one seed, we did that last year and we had tons of tomatoes, tons of cucumber, etc.!

Veggies aren't really one of my interests so I don't know much about them, I've leave it up to you!

Michelle,

Start by looking for seeds of foods you like to eat. If you list some here I am sure there will be offers.

I received some "Jerusalem Artichoke" seeds on a trade and I would be happy to share some with you! I also have Spaghetti Squash seeds (it's a winter variety I think). I have yellow pear tomato seed. I think that's about it. But do let me know if you would like some! :)

How about a few "Green Glaze", long ago the ole folk called them "Greasy Collards". Don't pour water on them in the pot, use Swanson Chicken or Veggie Broth instead. So much better than Ga. Collards. You can see the differance in the leaves. I don't of any store that carries these!

I don't believe I've ever seen any collards in any of the stores around here! But I've always wanted to try them and see what all the buzz is about! You'll have to tell me how to harvest them though.
