Wanted a few snail vine seeds please

I'm looking for both kinds.
Vigna caracalla=contorted corkscrew vine, flowers are fragrant and start out white,change to purple and then a dusty yellow color
Phaseolus caracalla=snail vine, flowers are only slightly fragrant if at at all, flowers start out light lavender and stay that way

Jody, have you seen how much the snail vine seeds are selling for and only 5 at a time?I lost my last bid and they were up to over $16.00 when i gave up . cinnabor

I do have some rare seeds to trade if anyone has these seeds.
I have some plants I'd trade too.
I'd also buy a few seeds 5-6 is all I need.
I'm not paying $16 for them though.

People are paying unspeakable prices for these. The only problem I found on ordering the plant was I was shipped a snail vine instead of the one I wanted the snail vine stays purple while pretty it is nothing when compared to a real one. the flower is really pretty and has seneral colors and a nice scent. the other grows fast but as far as I'm conscerned nothing to write home about.one is a snail vine one is a shell vine the latin names are almost the same..When i notifyed the seller on ebay I recieved no answer. buyer beware cinnabor

They are so pretty... I have a friend that started some from seeds and she is giving me one.. I'm so lucky

Jody, I have 6 seeds. Only problem is I don't remember which one I had bought. It the one called Snail Pea Vine. I had planted about 12 of them up and they went all wild on me and got tangled cuz I didn't have time to stake em.

Any ways, if ya wanna trade holler at me.

The font size is comic sans 16.

I just traded the last of my phaseolus except the one I kept for ID purposes.
I only have a couple of vigna to spare but I have been getting 100% germination on them so far.
I will have some plants up for special trades later in the spring.

Well, mine don't look quite like either of them, mine remind me more of minature ju-ju-bee candies. More on the squarish-round side. But when I got a look at the leaves and flower DG link I got the phaseolus one.

Jody, You can buy tubers of Vigna caracalla from Monticello. I've bought them before and they are very nice sized.
