Calif. Hummies?

Victorville, CA

Does anybody know of a website or info on when hummies come back to Calif.? I live in the upper desert of Calif. Ours left sometime I think in Nov. Most of the websites that I'm finding track the eastern movements or northern movements but ignore us altogether. Now maybe I'm looking at all the wrong sites but if ya know of one please let me know.

Thanks but that one only tracks the Rufous hummies and we don't have any here. I get Anna's, Costas, and I think I had a Black-chinned hummingbird. It had a purple band across its throat. I can't wait until they come back this year cuz I bought a camera to take pics so I can figure it out a little better after they have flown away. For some reason they don't track them here in Calif. cuz the Annas supposedly stay here year round but mine didn't.

Thanks! That looks almost exactly like the hummie we had last summer. Gosh I hope he comes back. He was the prettiest (oh sorry) handsomest hummie that we had.

I meant to say, he was already spoken for.lol

I am spoken for too. My Sweet drove all the way from Ft Lauderdale on the weekend just to go pick me up scraps of poles from a dock maker for my garden. That and a teak rocker for 2 was my Valentine's gift......what a guy.....can't wait to get my chainsaw out and start working with the dock poles in my garden. The garden will be alot easier when he is home for good can't stand the wait.

Where is he for bad?

LOL! Love the way you write Sidney. He works with the USPS as a city carrier in Ft Lauderdale. We got him a swap from Las Vegas last year now working on the swap North.
