That is a beauty Baa. It sure makes an impressive display. I just have the plain old generic green one. Have never seen 'Crimson King' before. Excellent photo.

Baa...what an attractive plant. I'm guessing they need full sun and dry sandy soil?

Yes although they don't really need much in the way of soil at all. They plant them in walls and similar with a small plug of soil.

They used to plant them in the rooves of the houses here as they are thought to avert lightening strikes.
