I am looking for cosmos and nasturtiums and gaillardia anything in them unusual as far as mix and colors any advice will be appreciated. BEV
where do you all buy your seeds from most?
There is a new one out called Arizona Sun, it's a Gaillardia. Everyone raves about this one! And, you could try the FanFare as well. I think that one is a couple years old now too, but, very popular. The flowers on it are the coolest sweet colors and shape! As far as Cosmos, I would stick to the Dwarf Cosmos for containers. I have one package of a 'Sonata Mix' Cosmo that grows to 2 feet. Bright and pale pinks, whites and reds. If interested, lemme know. Nasturtiums, I like the trailing type. I actually bought a seed pack the other day, they trail up to 10 feet! I've never grown them, but I understand they flower only when the temps are cool. Don't know how they would do in Florida, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in on that. I bought most of my seed's from Stoke's. They have a GREAT feedback rating on the watchdog and the selection can't be beat! They have detailed germinating instructions on everything and you can buy individual colors of almost everything too. Prices aren't to bad and the service is top notch as well. Just my tidbit. I would at least get a copy of their catalog. I'm sure you'll find something in it. By the way, that FanFare, you can only buy plants of that. Its patented. Have fun!
