What type of fertilizer should I use on bananas?

I use whatever I have on hand, they aren't picky. Mostly mine get avacado/cirtus or palm blend and they seem happy with it. Every now and then they get the acid blend made for evergreens and azaleas.

Most of the time I throw some 8-8-8 on mine; miracle grow, nearly anything on them.

Bananas LOVE lots of potassium...ashes from the wood stove or fireplace or....do wonders. We give ours 10-5-40 -
