A varigated bed on Maya....

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

I knew the leaves are varigated...but I didn't expect the buds to be! Actually that must have been a freudian slip...I meant BUDS not bed!!
I thought this was really cute!

Aw, I love her little striped buds. As a matter of fact I just plain love my Maya .
Good luck with her, she's a real princess.

Maya is easy to grow and bloom. P & Cream is pokey as all get out. Am tossing my P & C.

Really ? Guess I'll scratch P&C off my wanted list now.

Way to go Margie -- looking very nice and healthy!

Congrats. Maya is such a pretty brug. I even think my cutting is going to make it this year. I wasn't so lucky a year ago. Wishing I had your zone to work with Margie.

Nice Looking Maya! The variegation on the buds are also an added Plus for her show. I also must add that my P&C is slow to start off as Hibiscus said. Slow but once it gets started it keeps blooming. No big flushes just a steady set of blooms.

Thank you all....I will for sure post a photo when she blooms! So glad to hear you all love her! I am sure I will too!

I'd be very interested in obtaining a rooted cutting of Maya if anyone have extra. I have a hot pink rooted plumeria (8" tall) offer in exchange. Also have rooted oleanders (mixed red, pink, white).
PLMK.

PS: what color flower does maya produce?

Scooterbug & picturelady, those are GREAT pictures

Margie, those striped buds look really neat. Maya has great looking foliage. I'll look forward to seeing her bloom.
