Japanese Clerodendrum, Peanut Butter Shrub, Harlequin Glory Bower (Clerodendrum trichotomum)

I love the diversity in flower form and color in this genus.

I like them all too, especially the butterfly blue Clerodendron, but too Frost tender for here.

I have C. ugandense growing in a container that I overwinter indoors. I need to cut it back, it's getting big indoors. I will try to root the cuttings and maybe be able to plant them outdoors as annuals.

you are lucky to have that one Gerris it is just beautiful.
PerennialGirl I would think it would grow from seed . last year I saw seeds on the one at work , will try to collect some.
The one in the park, is ahead of the one at work.
I had one,,, and I was deciding where to plant it, it fell over onto the lawn, my son, mowed it over, it will take a while, to recover, if ever.
