petunia - spring cutting swap - interest ?

Waxhaw (Charlotte), NC(Zone 7b)

I am starting Lavender pelleted petunias from seed this spring.
What colors are you starting ?

Would a rooted cutting swap of petunias have any interest ?
This way we could all enjoy the various colors (pink, purple, blue, lavender) ?

I have mailed 3" rooted cuttings successfully. I take the cutting about 2-3 weeks before the swap.
I grow them in small 1x1" plug trays and once they are rooted, I normally put my baskets together.
The cuttings can withstand being mailed in a small box with roots wrapped in moist newspaper inside a plastic bag.

Timing would be mid-end May or similar...

Interest ?

I have to honestly say, I have never thought of rooting petunias! I am planning to order Explorer Blue. I'd be happy to share later. I have to get my greenhouse up first! SIGH.

I would be interested also in cuttings or plants of the petunias.
Only problem is, I can't start plants in my greenhouse until the first week of April, as I have to use electric heaters and the light bill goes towards the moon if I start before that.

I'm interested also. I'll be starting Dolce Flambe and Limoncello from seed soon. Along with some other colors... love petunias! I put them on my back deck and in the evening with the attic fan on, it pulls in their wonderful aroma.

hhmm...none of my petunias have any fragrance...i would sure like to have some that did

I planted the aladin mix from parks last year brommom, thats where all the scents came from. I actually smelled them all individually and it seems like that really dark purple velvety one put off the most scent.

cool beans..i will have to make sure i do some of them next year...i already have way to many to start and its gonna be tough caring for all of them and trying to recoup from surgery
