banana musa x paradisciaca

I was out getting dirt, and well, I get easily side tracked when I'm around things that are growing, or are going to grow.

Today at Garden Works, I got this banana for $15. I'm un sure if my musa sumatrana zebrina is going to make the winter, so couldn't pass up this chance.

Also got a couple each of dahlia's 'break out' , and 'snoho diana'. The snoho diana is pink and the breakout is pale pale pink with a bit of yellow and orange. I guess we'll have to see them when they grow.

and I did get dirt, and more seed trays,and another heat mat, and ..... I better quit before my SO finds out how much I spent...

Great find, Linda. I lost one banana plant already. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with them. Almost thought I lost another one. I cut it back and I see a new shoot coming out.

Is Garden Works near your place Linda?

It's about 5 min Pam, lots of good things there. They are having an orchid blitz now. They look like the same ones the Echoes was showing from her GH. There's lots of bigger and probably better GH's and nurseries around, but this one is close to home. We'll get to lots when you guys are out here.
