(Zone 7a)

Hi, Just wanted to share a few pics. These are some Brugmansias which were literally sticks 6 weeks ago. They seem to be pretty happy today. Also here's some babies making their way into the world :-D

Congrats Kim. Your first picture is probably a Jean Pasko X rather than Jean X Pasco. You are doing very well. Next summer you will be painting with pollen.

Hey Brugie, tell me why? So I can specifically as the person who gave me these seeds to clarify.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kim, I don't know of a brug called Jean or one called Pasco. There is, however, a brug called Jean Pasko. Some people spell it Pasco. Also, if a plant produces seeds, those seeds cannot be called by the same name as the mother because it take pollen from a totally different plant to produce seeds. Every seed is a new hybrid. Your seeds are probably Jean Pasko X ? or unknown unless the person who sent them to you knows who the father is and in that case they would be Jean Pasko X Father's name. Then when they grow up and bloom, if one of them is so different than anything else that you want to name it, you give it a totally different name from Jean Pasko or that of the pollen donor (father). I hope this is what you were asking. LOL!

Ohhhhhhh...he he he he. The seeds came from Jean Pasco (spelled) I see in search engines it spelled Pasko. Well I guess I'll have a surprise...
Maybe Blue????? ha ha ha ha. I'm still working it...aren't I? Believing in Miracles.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Keep hoping for a blue. I doubt it ever happens, but wouldn't it be awesome to be the one who got it? LOL!

Such a robust seed when it emerges from the soil! Nice brug farm, Ms. Kim!
