I have a shooting star plant for about 3 years now and it has not bloomed.
Why? My nursery person says it should have bloomed after its first season planted, it does not have to mature as some plants do. It gets plenty of sun and water and fertilizer. I'm perplexed.

This is such a beautiful plant and your photo of it is really great. Thank you for sharing it with us. Do you have to protect it in the winter? Do you think it would do well in filtered or partial sun?

CHRIOII,
Is it in full sun??? If it is, then change location, maybe
she is not happy there.Have had them for over 7 years and they need little care. They are self sufficient , also I trim them in March every year. Use 20-20-20
Good luck, Armando.

HTOP, I know they like lots of sun, but i guess it
will do okay in partial sun.
No protection in winter, very strong.
Do you have the plant???
Armando.
