Lookin fer

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I'm looking for 'Day Dreams'. It's just too beautiful! I'd really love a cutting.
And double brugs other than white. Just a cutting would be great!

I can't promise much now b/c my list is in hibernation and overwintering but I'll have lots of goodies for the spring. I'm new to brugs but I'll have passifloras, tropicals, alpines, perennials, etc!

Is that Brugie's double pink? I do not think it is released yet. I know that is on top of most people's lists. It is so hard to have patience. There are more seedlings of that same parentage growing here in the US thanks to Monika. So hopefully double pinks will be abundant for all of us in the not to distant future.

Monika has sent in seeds so we could have the euro genes here in the US. Lots of new material to hybridize with. We are so lucky to have her as our friend. And even if you didn't get any of the seeds to grow, by next summer many of us will have pieces of her brugs growing in our yards. It just takes awhile for the circle to widen.

I'm going to grow a couple of plants of Day Dreams so I can use one for just cuttings to share as far as they will go. It will be fall before this happens though. Hopefully some of the people that also have Day Dreams will help to fill the requests for cuttings.

So it is released, Brugie? Hot! LOL

Brugie i hope I am on your 'list' :)

Brugie...please put me on your list too! :-)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

It will be released this fall. Please...no requests. I can't keep all that information straight. Just trying to remember why I planted all of these seeds is more than I can handle right now. LOL!

Don't be sad, Margie. I'll be trying to get a second plant of Monika growing too. Several friends have that one too. We should be able to get the regular posters here, one or the other. Will try my best,at least.

Thanks brugie...I know that you will remember me! I really do understand about not taking requests. Just too much record keeping!

Whines: But I want one now!

How are the European brugs different than our US ones?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Micha, Day Dreams and Monika were the first two double pinks in the US, thanks to Monika sharing her seed. There are other double pinks here now. I just can't tell you how available they will be. Can only speak for my own. :-)
