Calling All Snake Owners

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I'm not sure what kind of a response I'll get on here but I thought I'd try here before trying a different forum.

I'm considering adopting a "red boa" which I assume means a red tailed boa. They can get pretty darn large, near 40 lbs and are semi terrestrial. A large glass enclosure would be really difficult... would a reptarium (an open air screen cage) do? The concerns here are humidity and where would I put the under tank heating mats?

Otherwise, it would be perfect b/c I could a get a really large one and I could furnish it with alot of branches.

What are the liners by the way, the plastic trays that go in the bottom??
