Donna got the ball rolling. I have seeds from Creamsickle X Rosamond ready to go. You will get seeds from two different pods.
What plant does this leaf come from?
Another contest!
Begonia, maybe escargot?? I'm lousy at guessing plants.
It's probally an EE...lol.
Is it an epedium?
:) Donna
How about Nymphaea 'Sturtevanti'?
Begonia Angelwing
x fuchsifoliosa ‘Yolanda’
Coleus...............
Edited to add that its very pretty, whatever it is!

It is an epimedium...........I bet
My first thought was epimedium - but several folks have already said it - but the leaves are awfully wide...It's pretty, though.
If spelling counts, PerennialGirl's outta luck!
Of course, I had to look it up, but it does appear you've got it nailed! Gorgeous!

oh what do I know, but I'm gonna say some kind of anthurium?
Oooh did I win??? What can I say...didn't think spelling mattered....lol.
;p Donna
Wow...you guys are good!
I thought it was a Caladium
The shape and veins remind me of thunbergia, lol...yeah right?
datdog ain't talkin'!
well my best guess is............
Bishops' Mitre (Epimedium x rubrum)
Dee
Looks like a begonia to me, so I'm sure it probably isn't...
Epimedium x versicolor
GardenGuyKin you have it. lookey here
http://www.thegardenhelper.com/epimediumpix.html
Looks like epimedium, but I sure don't have any new growth on mine, just last years stuff that needs to be trimmed back. I was going to work a little out in the yard this afternoon, but it started snowing so I changed my mind. Donna
Am I the only one that doesn't know what an Epimedium is?? Now I have to go do a search for them. I sure like that leave. I was going to say a begonia for sure. 2 summers ago I started to collect them.
I sure hope I hate Epimediums!!
Great crosses Kristi. I am dyinbg to know if Cream sickle throws huge doubles.
Kell, I just looked up "Epimedium" and it say's its a horny goat weed.....in that case I have no need for it, I have enough problems in controlling all my other weeds as it is ;)
Pam it is better to deal with weeds than horny goats ROFL!!!!!!!!!
LOL!!!
ROTF!
I'm sorry I didn't get back last night! We went to a Super Bowl party and didn't get home until late.
It is a Epimedium 'tag covered in snow' variety. LOL Perennial Girl wins! Now where in the heck do you live? Do I have to go to the post office to mail these or can I drop them in the mail box. Boy I'm starting to sound lazy, huh? :)
Congrats Donna :)
Now anyone who doesn't grow these needs to rush out and buy a couple! They are the neatest little plants for shade or part shade. Kell- you just can't hate them.
I'm not sure about Creamsickle as the momma plant. Has anyone had success with it before?
Yeah..I won a contest!!! I live in Canada. I'm email you my address.
:) Donna
Good job, Donna! Congrats!
Kristi: I have had success with Creamsickle as momma. Have a few seedlings growing now. Creamsickle x ?.
Kell, I'm really sorry but I am afraid you won't hate Epimediums. I have a catalog that is only Epimediums, I haven't gone to their email, but I am pretty sure they would have photos. I have a picture or two somewhere but right now I don't know where. Epimediums at Garden Vision --darrellpro@earthlink.net. They make a very nice ground cover. Onl y one problem to see the beauty of new leaves and the blooms, one needs to take clippers etc and clip off last years foliage.
Moonlighting where did you find that definition?????????????? There are no horns or stickers anywhere inthese little beauties. LOL Donna
Ladies you must remember there are times we may have a use for "Horney Goats" no matter what the speicies.............LOL. Sometime we might need something "good to cover the ground" .....this isnt a stinging nettle is it?????.......lol
Dee
