Wanted "Hoodia gordonii"

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

For SASBE if possible. Mum really wants to grow this and I can't find it for under 20.00 for seeds. If this is a rare or hard to find plant nevermind. :-)

Oh, how cute! I hate you - now I want it too! LOL! I should NEVER look in these threads!

I will check around locally and see if I can find them anywhere. Good luck!

tsavo this is a Canadian Company http://www.succulentsuccess.com/Hoodia.html but they will sell seeds to American customers (except those seeds/plants protected by Cites).
Panamoncreel bought his "Hoodia gordonii" seeds there and had excellent germination rates.

I notice that they are now "sold out" but the original price of their seeds was much cheaper than what you posted. Of course now that the plant is *very popular* their new shipment may reflect the above prices. :S

Thank you Lilypon! Price gouging- grrr. lol
I'll check them out! (hugs)

You would also have the benefit of our dollar being weaker. ;) Good luck!

Hehe- thanks!

If you find a cource that's (somewhat) affordable, I'll be happy to share an order with you! (Still holding out for a "Donor", though! And still looking around locally!)

Tucson, AZ

Just stumbled across this post. If you are still looking, I have hoodia gordinii seeds that germinate well. Cultivating from seed is not difficult. I have about 150 seeds I can spare but they were pricey and I will sell them almost exactly what I paid for them. Anyone can have a bag of 15 seeds for $10.00 including postage and instructions. I can't discount for quantity because I only have a small quantity. When they are gone - well - they are gone. I bought 500 and have about 200 seedlings going right now. I also have several adult plants that will hopefully produce well this year also. Thanks and good luck. You can email me directly at wontogo@yahoo.com.
