best price for rockwool? $8.82 1.5 cube 98 count
I'm pretty sure this is where I ordered my last rockwool slabs from. I also thought the prices were good.
Moonglow, You sure are lucky to have a supply house so close by.
If I was in your shoes I would be out of my Garden Budget in no time flat . LOL
For the rest of you , check other prices before paying s&h at the store Moonglow goes to.
Plant it Earth is only selling 1/2 sheet of cubes , the same way they are sold on eBay.
Grodin 1'' x 1'' x 1 1/2 '' cubes comes 200 to a full sheet.

You can save more money by using RW slabs also.

i ordered mine at bghydro scooter, but it's just so good to know there's a place around the corner.
i just can't wait to try them out, shirley. my shipment arrives today.
btw, where do you buy those little baggies for plants?
The slabs are cheaper and i like them better. Moonglow, I used the gal sized Hefty bag with the zipper. I never could figure out what those other bags were and I love the zipper, because I can check when/if I need to and blow it right back up...now, I've started putting several varieties of seed in the same tupperware and planting the seeds, then when I want to start another variety, I slice the rockwool and add one of the stick plant markers. Really helps me conserve space...
Sherry, looks like I'm getting deeper and deeper into this =). Now where is that UPS guy? Been waiting for him all day!
Ooops, speaking of the devil, and the devil is ringing the door bell! Woo-hoo!!!
WooWoo to you Moonglow!!!
Thanks, Moonglow. I frequent both San Francisco ands Marin, so I'll have to plan a trip.
