What do you think of this GH

Kennewick, WA(Zone 6b)

Hello
I have talked my husband into letting me get a greenhouse. (Has to be inexpensive and I have to put it together) So after searching what seems like forever I found this one. Does anyone know or have this model? It looks like I might be able to use it year round. Thank you!!!

Oh, It is Called the early Bloomer Greenhouse.

I am going to take a guess and say either nobody has one, or they do not care for it.
I will look at some other options then.

Yes, I like the Solexx double panels, their already insulated and looks quite strong and durable, no need to pump air between two flimsy sheets of plastic to achieve the same results. I'd go for it, just my opinion.

For about 50 bucks,I'd go for the 5mm,well worth it.

The price looks good, but have you factered in the cost of shipping?
I looked at these a few years ago, and it seems that the Solexx covering did not let in as much light as I was wanting.

Just check out everything and make sure you are getting what you really want.

My first GH was a Domehause type that I got from Worms Way ( you can get it from a lot of other places too.) It is 6'X10', puts up a lot like a tent, cost less than $400.00, had good light transmission, and after 4 winters, it is still in fair shape. If I had taken it down when not in use, it would probably be in great shape.

Thank you for the replies!

Hi Flowerfan,
This looks like a good bargain, and the ad says free shipping.
As Skyblue pointed out, though, it only transmits 70% of the light, so if you are wanting to grow tomatoes or something that needs full sun, it might not fit the bill. It would be fine for many other plants, though. I have a lot of shade lovers and had to buy 50% shade cloth to reduce light in my GH.
Also you might consider putting it on a landscape timber foundation to increase the height a bit.
Good luck with whatever you buy!
