(Mrs. moon) pulmonaria to trade

Huntington, IN(Zone 5b)

I know it is only Feb. but I wanted to get a list compiled. This is what I hopefully will have an abudance of and wanted to trade for other perennials. I like irises, astillbes and other perennials and will be looking for some aqautic plants for my little boys koi pond. It's not in yet. Mrs. moon is in the database. Let me know thanks!

I also have other perennials to trade, so maybe we can work out multiple trades. (Single trades are fine, if it's something I like or don't have.) I am also looking for starts of different grasses too.

Here's a pic, from last summer, of course they are dormant here, but I can dod some that I had separated last year. Thought you might like them for your pond.

Oh my..that is a pretty picture. Sure....will they survive here? See what I am thinking about is a liner pond. Prefabricated because I will be putting it in. So it is not going to be an elaborate one. Will a 100 gallon, 18 inches deep be able to accomadate that plant? It sure gives it a tropical appearance. It isn't a monster is it? Aggressive is what I mean. My sweet autumn clematis is a monster.
You are going to have to ignore my dumb questions because this pond thing is all new to me..really.
My little boy said he wanted a fish aquarium inside. Well that means more mess inside. I almost croak when I have to enter a stinky pet store. I am a animal lover but the smell..I just can't take it. So I have convinced him we would put a pond in for him. He could feed the fish outside and alleviate another smell in the house. Our house cat is into everything and she is a hunter. I would hate to punish her by putting in a fish aquarium, it would drive her crazy.

You could keep it in a pot for at least a season, just in case it isn't hardy for you. People often put pot and all in ponds, then take it in for the winter. No, I don't consider it invasive even though each year it will expan the root ball and send up new shoots, it is a grass and dies back in the winter. http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/8270/

Sure when it warms up I'd like you to save some for me. You can have some of my Mrs. moon. I have some other perennials to trade but I will privately e-mail you when the time is right. I have the Brunnera do you like that? It is just the plain green but puts off beautiful blue sprays up in spring and it shade loving. The leaves are heart shaped and once in awhile it will rebloom.

They survive in your zone 7????! Maybe I should look into aquiring some when I build a pond. I love the way they look.

Yes, if you are talking about the Papyrus. I don't have a pond, as you can see it is in full sun in the ground. It dies back to the ground in winter then shoots up in late spring. There is another type that has sort of a fluffy top that is also popular.
