Hi mgarr, so is that winter over there?
Here's a shot of the same plant in Australia, about three weeks ago.It got a good prune last year, just flowering up now.
Cheers,
Gary

We have to grow it from seed. We can overwinter it but it turns into quite a large plant by the fall and space is something I do not have. Thanks for the picture. Mine will look like yours from now on, I'll just picture your plant when I grow mine, that will make me happy.

mgarr, where do the flowers appear on this plant? I have a big plant and keep watching it but so far no flower buds.

Hi I've just been given a plant and am so excited about it. I do however have a space problem so I need to be thoughtful as to where I plant it. Can you please advise if it would tolerate morning sun/afternoon shade or does it have to have full sun? Also assuming it is planted in optimal conditions can you give me an indicaion of how high it would grow? Thanks

Gaynorb, Here is a link to the PlantFiles information on this nice plant:

I grew it last year and had it in the bald open sun, and it seemed to crave the sun. It did grow tall, about 4 feet tall. It did not grow laterally very much. I will try growing it again from cuttings I am overwintering indoors. Enjoy!

Joseph
