You are right! Riverina was actually one of its common name. But somehow it was labeled O. riverina in a few nursery I've gone to and the most common name used locally is orange tuna. It may became a synonym, I'm not sure.

It take years before a validly published synonym or species becomes widely accepted, and the 'botanical' name that usually becomes standard is the 'first' accurate name published. All the synonyms of the Cactaceae family of plants of the past have all been sorted out in the book 'The Cactus Family' by E.F. Anderson, and it is presently considered to be 'The' current authority on Cacti.
Most library's carry the book, and it's also for sale just about everywhere. It can also be found on Bookfinder.com new and used copies.

I'm only going by the nursery's label. If this is an error, then please feel free to delete the plant entry and move the picture to the correct listing. I'm new to this site so I not sure how to do it. The last thing I want to do is to give false info. Thanks for letting me know.
