Question Please

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

My AV are very pretty and healthy and I love them. My question is one of them has a double plant from the same base. Can I somehow seperate them and make another plant without killing them?

yes, yes you can. It sounds like you have a sucker. You can slice it off carefully with an xacto knife and root it like a leaf - a propagation dome of puffed up bag helps. I think robsviolet.com has some instructions.... if I remember correctly.

Thank you

Hey, I just did this myself. I was able to cut part of the stem and roots off with the sucker. Some of the bottom leaves on the small plant turned brown and died after I planted it, but the others have perked up, and the parent plant is doing fine. Good luck!

I think I will leave mine alone and see what happens.
