I hardly ever use a crockpot- maybe 3 times in the last 10 yrs. Inherited my grannys circa 1970's one and kinda want to take care of it.
Anyway Publix had a good sale on pork shoulder roast this evening and I wanna cook it nice and slow tonight. I need to know when should I add the veggies as I don't want them to cook too mushy. I'm using the usual- potatoes, carrots, onions and celery.
